Create new daily site diary
To access the daily site diary, go to the burger menu in the top left and click on "Daily site diary"
Create new daily site diary / copy
Click on the plus symbol in the bottom right to create a new sheet.
Now you can either create a blank sheet, or adopt the content from an existing construction diary sheet by copying it.
The following fields are available:
- Construction phase
- Date
- Editor
- General weather conditions (select)
- Temperature
- Working hours
- Bad weather block (times)
- Active companies + activities + person-hours + (photos)
- Other incidents
On smartphones, all fields are displayed one below the other. If you don't see a section, you need to scroll down.
Weather
By clicking on Load weather data, weather data is searched and loaded from the internet.
The weather always refers to two basic pieces of information:
- The specified date
- The project address of the current project (Found under the menu item Projects)
Date
The specified date can correspond to the current day or be in the past. In this case, "historical weather data" will be used. If you change the date afterwards, the weather data will be automatically deleted since it no longer corresponds to reality.
Project address
Under Projects, you can assign an address to the project. The search for the correct weather is based on this project address. If no project address is stored, no weather can be found. If only a partial address is stored, you will also receive a notification to complete the address.
Document company & activity
Under Active companies, click on "+ Add company".
Then you specify how many people were present and how many person-hours were worked by this company in total.
After clicking "Add", you will immediately proceed to Activities. Multiple activities can be documented for each company. To enable you to record several activities in succession, there is a serial mode button in the bottom left.

When you're done, click on "Add" again.
Now you will see the company and its activity in the daily site diary.
The following attachments can be uploaded per company:
- With the paperclip you can add various files to the company and its activities
with the following file formatsImages: gif, jpeg, pngText: plain, richtext, rtf, xmlAudio: all Video: all Office: docx, xls, ppt PDF: pdfPlans: dwg, dxf
- With the cube symbol you can upload existing files from Documents & Plans
- With the camera symbol you can take photos
Send daily site diary
When you're finished, you can send your daily site diary directly from BauMaster using the paper airplane icon in the top left.
Similar to sending a protocol, there are three steps:
- Distribution list (Recipients): Select people to whom the PDF should be sent
- Email Settings: Set a subject and email text
If subject and email text remain empty, an appropriate default text will be sent
3. "Send" to send the PDF report
With "Preview" at the bottom right, you can view the PDF preview. By checking the box "Complete report", you can finalize this sheet, making it uneditable.
Delete daily site diary sheet
You can delete individual daily site diary sheets using the trash can icon in the top right.
