Capturing Log Entries with Series Mode

Capturing Log Entries with Series Mode

The "Series Mode" ensures that when creating a log entry, the input form appears again immediately after clicking Create. In this form, the previously filled fields are carried over for the next entry. This allows you to work much more efficiently since repetitive entries are eliminated.

The "Series Mode" is therefore ideal for construction site inspections or defect inspections. The function is best explained using a practical example!

A Practical Example

Imagine you are a construction manager conducting a defect inspection at the construction site, where you want to document all trade-specific defects.

You come across the first electrical outlet and create a new entry in the defect log. You enter text, company, responsible person, location, and type. Instead of creating a new entry for each additional defect concerning this company, you activate the "Series Mode".

The "Series Mode" saves you work by storing values that remain constant. You only need to enter the entry title and, if necessary, photos or markers.

Sounds practical, how do I activate the mode?

When adding a new entry to a log, you'll find a checkbox labeled "Series" at the very bottom.

When checked, the Series Mode ensures that after clicking Create, the input form appears again immediately, where the previously filled fields are carried over and pre-populated for each subsequent item. This saves you a lot of time!

To deactivate the mode, simply click the checkbox again.
