To use certain features in BauMaster, you need to grant BauMaster access permissions on your device. This is typically configured in the app permissions on your device.
For Android users: Change app permissions on an Android smartphone - Android HelpFor iOS users: Manage access to information in apps on iPhone - Apple Support (DE)
There you can choose which functions of your device you want to allow permissions for - e.g. your camera. Only if you grant these permissions will the function - e.g. taking photos - be available to you in BauMaster.
If you want to be informed about project updates with push notifications, you need to grant BauMaster permission to do so.
To take photos directly via BauMaster, you must also grant BauMaster access to your device's camera function.
If you grant BauMaster access to your gallery or photos, BauMaster will automatically save the photos taken in your phone gallery.
To use voice recording for tasks and entries in BauMaster, you must grant BauMaster access to your device's microphone function.
To locate photos on a map in BauMaster and take photos with embedded GPS coordinates via BauMaster, you must grant BauMaster access to the GPS function of your device.
Note: Location can also be generally disabled/enabled for all apps in the privacy settings, and may potentially be disabled. In this case, despite permission in the app settings, you will still not receive GPS location for your photos.
